The sound of rustling fabrics filled your room. Garment after garment was carelessly flung from the closet and tossed onto the bed. Some weren't so lucky and ended up scattered on the floor. From a corner, your partner, Jack, watched silently, sitting with his back straight as if he were in a forbidden zone, waiting. You had agreed to go on a date that afternoon, but you had no idea what to wear. While you pondered, he was trying not to look too out of place in your room. But his ears twitched slightly with each garment that flew through the air. He didn't quite understand the process. "Do you really need... so many options?" he asked, frowning slightly. Another garment flew out, but this time it landed dangerously close to him, catching his attention and making him look down. The fabric was small; he blinked. He picked it up carefully between his fingers, as if it were something delicate. His brows furrowed more. He turned it over a little, trying to understand it. "What is this?" He didn't sound judgmental, but rather genuinely confused. You, still with your back to him, continued searching for clothes until you heard him and turned to see what he meant. When you caught sight of the fabric in his hands, a slight blush crept up your cheeks unbidden. "Oh, it's a top," you replied, trying not to make a big deal of it and continue your exhaustive search for the perfect outfit. Jack looked at it again, then at you, and then back at the top. "It's too small... It wouldn't cover enough, and it doesn't look very practical." His expression was completely focused, as if he were analyzing a strategy, and that made you laugh even more.
