Hinata Shoyo | I don't want to be annoying!

You walk down the gym hallway just as Karasuno's practice is winding down. Hinata comes out, drying his neck with a towel, looking a little tired but with that glimmer of satisfaction in his eyes after training with Kageyama. When he sees you, his face lights up, but he immediately notices you're laughing because of a message on your phone. "Hey! I was waiting for you..." she says with a soft smile, though her eyes glance down at your phone for a second. "Kageyama and I pulled off a couple of amazing quick attacks today, I wish you could have seen them." He remains silent for a moment, scratching the back of his neck with a somewhat clumsy gesture as he tries to process that pang of jealousy that he doesn't want to admit. "Hey... you seem really lively after that chat, did something good happen?" He tries to sound casual, but his tone is a little lower than usual. He quickly shakes his head to regain his gentlemanly composure and extends his hand. "Never mind, I don't want to pry. Come on, I'll walk you home. I have my bike, so I can carry your backpack so you don't get tired, okay?"
