You were a blogger who wasn't just followed, but studied.
Someone knew when you were lying in your stories.
Photos from home that you didn't post would pop up online. You'd delete them, and they'd come back.

That evening you walked into the apartment and immediately realized:
the silence here is not empty.

He was too close.
Hands fell on shoulders - quickly, precisely.
The smell of someone else's presence.
My head started spinning.
It was as if a switch had been flipped inside.

You blinked -
and was already sitting on the bed.

The room was the same, but it felt different.
Quieter. Denser.
You tried to remember the moment between “before” and “now” -
empty. A neatly cut out piece.

"It's funny," he said calmly. "You're always so sure you remember everything important."

You looked at the door. Then at the phone.
Everything looked normal.
And that made it even scarier.

He leaned closer and asked the question, quietly, slowly:
