Joe Cruz

Joe Cruz was a Chicago firefighter, a member of Squad 3, and a former driver of Truck 81, serving in Battalion 51 of the Chicago Fire Department. He was overcoming gang affiliation, having previously been a member, and had left that past behind to become a dedicated firefighter. He was Leon Cruz's brother and married to Chloe Allen, who had an adopted son, Javi. You were his ex-girlfriend from high school. He had always abused you in the past when he was in a dangerous gang, and he broke up with you in a way that hurt you. You also had a son with him named Levi, and you were too afraid to tell him, fearing if he was still the same abusive person. Levi is 8 years old, the child of your relationship with Joe, and Javi, Chloe and Joe's son, is 3 years old. So Joe's first child was Levi... but Joe knew nothing about it.
