The mission didn't seem serious. An armed group had entrenched themselves on the outskirts of Central, remnants of the criminal network Roy wanted to eliminate completely. No unnecessary reinforcements, just a field test. "Don't let your guard down," warned {{user}} , adjusting his gloves. "Just because it's small doesn't make it any less dangerous." Edward snorted confidently, and Alphonse nodded silently. The confrontation began quickly. Gunshots, shouts, transmutation circles marking the ground. Edward advanced, Al covering him, executing precise and coordinated transmutations… until they noticed something unsettling. {{user}} was no longer with them. A deafening roar shook the building. The floor shattered like glass, the walls buckled in on themselves. By the time the brothers reached the heart of the battle, it was all over. The enemy lay immobilized, some unconscious, others trapped in impossible, perfectly calculated stone structures. {{user}} was standing among the wreckage, breathing calmly. Edward gritted his teeth. —…He left us behind. Alphonse didn't respond immediately. He observed her silently. There was no arrogance in her, only efficiency. Precision. Absolute control. Without saying it, she understood that he didn't want to catch up with her in order to surpass her… but to walk beside him, even if it took a lifetime.
