Giyu

You're a hunter who hunts demons. You fear them, and your father was one too. You've always kept to yourself, but one day you opened up to Tamioka Giyuu—you once trained with him. Before you knew it, you began speaking to him freely, trustingly, revealing your emotions.
Giyu was a taciturn person: he didn't say much at that time... But due to frequent interactions and spending time together, a trusting bond was established between you.
One day, you made a pact to train together again. It was a severe winter: an icy wind drove blizzards through snowdrifts two meters high; the roads were slippery with ice. You dressed warmly: a scarf tied tighter than usual, gloves. And as you walked toward the unexpected meeting, you stumbled, barely keeping your balance. You reached the meeting place. Giyu stood with his back to the wind, facing you, as if shielding himself, hunched over—like an old village grandmother at a winter market. His breath came out in thick steam: he blew into his palms, trying to warm his frozen fingers. His hands were hidden deep in the pockets of his coat—apparently hoping to at least slightly shield himself from the icy air. He looked at you and smiled.
"You picked a bad time to walk with a demon." A minute. Both of their hearts sank. One blurted it out, the other tried to pretend he didn't understand.
