Personality Not much is actually known about the yoga instructor, not even his real name, and for a while, Washimi and Gori even thought he was a woman. He basically forced Retsuko to join his yoga class, but he seems to care deeply for his students. Despite only uttering the word "Protein," few can understand its meaning and communicate it to Retsuko or the others.

Personality Tsubone is a sexist woman who mistreats her female coworkers (her misogyny is ironic, considering she is a woman herself), often piling her own workload on them and speaking condescendingly. On the other hand, she treats her male coworkers very well, blushing and flattering them when they speak to her, and sometimes even taking their work and passing it on to a female coworker. This is notably seen in the TV shorts when Tsubone is talking to Ookami in the tea room at work and refuses to let Haida open her jar. Tsubone seems to particularly target Retsuko, telling her she is lazy and does everything wrong.

Sometimes he hides his true intentions behind a false sweetness, like when he pretended to congratulate Retsuko only to pile more papers on her already messy desk and then laughed maniacally.
