Vampire Knight

Rima Toya is one of the youngest Night Class students and the roommate of Ruka Souen. Like most of the Night Class students and Noble Vampires, Rima has the natural creamy pale skin tone and a strikingly beautiful appearance with straight light orange hair that she ties in two pigtails with black hair ribbons where it hangs just below her shoulders in layered locks of gold when she leaves it down. The only part that is left alone is the bangs that fall just above her eyes and shorter hair on the side of her face, big blue eyes (similar to a cerulean color) and she is shown to be a slender girl with a perfectly proportioned body.Rima possesses a strong and self-assured personality similar to Senri Shiki as she tends to expend energy only when necessary, and is usually a lady of few words. Normally, she comes across as a quick thinker, indifferent and aloof, but is often seen to be worrying about Senri and Takuma Ichijo. Despite her uninterested air she has no qualms speaking her mind and unexpectedly has a short-tempered side to her as well. She usually has an indifferent or disinterested expression on her face. As a vampire, she gets sunburned easily and can be seen walking under a parasol with Senri during the day. Cool, professional and occasionally cynical, Rima is also very loyal and protective of her friends.Rima possesses the ability to wield electricity/lightning. Like all Aristocratic vampires, she possesses an accelerated healing factor and can erase memories if needed.

Senri Shiki is an aristocrat, a model, and one of the youngest Night Class students. Later on, it is revealed that he is the illegitimate son of Rido Kuran.Senri inherits most of his appearance from his mother. Like all Noble vampires, he possesses immense beauty: Senri is a pale-skinned young teenager with mahogany hair and lightly-tinted blue eyes. His mother remarks that he is starting to share a resemblance to his father and his father describes Senri as being rather cute. Shiki possesses a personality similar to that of Rima Toya. He is usually impassive and often detached to the rest of the vampires except for Rima and Ichijo. He rarely expresses emotion and may seem like he doesn't care about his surroundings. Because of his reserved nature, he keeps to himself and never has much to say, but when he does it is noted that he can be very blunt with his comments. When the Night Class is given orders to hunt down a Level E vampire, Shiki is usually the one we see out hunting them. He and Rima both share a love for Pocky, often seen sharing it when they are together; she feeds it to him as if he is a child. Like all other vampires, Shiki does not like to be under the sun and can often be seen walking around with Rima under her parasol in daylight. Laidback to the point of seeming apathetic, Senri does not have much of an interest in anything and possesses little motivation, although he is responsible for his modeling career and duties. A follower by nature, he became quite attached to Takuma Ichijo – a natural leader, who was always prompting him to try new things. Because of his mother’s mental illness, Senri learned to become a quiet ‘doll’ who didn’t cause trouble or make her worry. He seems to think little of himself and lets people use him, prompting his friend Rima Toya to encourage him to stand up for himself more.Like all Noble vampires, Senri has accelerated healing powers. He also has a unique ability to turn his own blood into a whip-like weapon.

Ruka Souen is a female student of the Night Class and one of the most faithful, protective and loyal followers of Kaname Kuran. As custom as most of the Aristocratic Vampires, Ruka is considered to be a very beautiful female vampire that makes her popular among the Day Class males with wavy waist-length toffee-colored hair that has messy bangs framing her forehead on both sides, large coffee-bean brown eyes, a slim and feminine frame, her skin (although fairly pale) is a little bit darker than most her classmates and she is probably one of the taller female students in the Night Class. Ruka usually reflects as a haughty, bored, unapproachable and uninterested person to the rest of the world, probably due to her noble upbringing. She is portrayed to show disdain to those considered lower than her, or just simply ignoring them, refusing to acknowledge their presence. Ruka is sometimes cold to others affections, as shown when she rejects the Day Class Representatives' dance proposal by stating she cannot dance with someone she does not know. One of her defining characteristics is her love for Kaname Kuran as she has been tied by loyalty and admiration for him ever since they were children, angry at all those who disrespect him and disdainful of all girls who fawn on him. Her possessiveness made her hot-tempered and jealous, but her love for Kaname also brought out a vulnerable, self-doubting aspect of her usually proud personality, which she usually only expresses to Akatsuki Kain (Ruka's close friend).Ruka's power is stated to be manipulation through illusions

Akatsuki Kain is Hanabusa Aido's cousin and one of Kaname's "right hands." He is nicknamed "Wild" by several girls of the Day Class due to wearing his shirt unbuttoned. His nickname contradicts his mellow personality. Kain has a muscular build and a formidable height, the tallest vampire of the Night Class bunch. He seemingly lacks the classically pale vampire complexion. He has burnt-orange eyes and brownish-orange hair. His skin tone is tanner than most Night students. Kain also wears one silver earring in the middle of his left ear and is always seen wearing his shirt unbuttoned, contributing to his reputation as 'Wild.' He has a tattoo in the shape of a flame on his left hip. Akatsuki is a calm person who rarely loses his cool and often needs to reign in an impulsive feud between Aido and Ruka. He is incredibly perceptive and is frequently sensitive to others' feelings. His association with Aido frequently gets him into trouble despite not being directly responsible. He refers to Kaname as their 'Gang Leader.' He is also loyal and protective; the type who would never betray his friends. He reveals that he follows Kaname because Ruka does but someday he hopes to believe in himself. Like all aristocrat vampires, Akatsuki has accelerated healing. Akatsuki also has the unique ability to conjure and control fire.

Hanabusa Aido, nicknamed "Idol" by the Day Class girls, is a member of and the heir of the Aido Family, protector and tutor of Yuki Kuran and the cousin of Akatsuki Kain and Ruka Souen. Hanabusa is an Aristocrat Vampire who possesses the ability to freeze matter. Hanabusa is a fairly tall, lean and lithe young man with golden-blond hair and electric blue eyes. As with most Aristocrat vampires, he is very attractive and often draws the interest of several Day Class girls. He is often shown wearing his Night Class uniform, though he can also be seen wearing casual yet smart clothes. Hanabusa is a very outgoing and charismatic vampire who is also friendly and cheerful one moment but he can also be cruel the next. He often flirts with the girls, mostly the Day Class students. Hanabusa is careless about keeping the fact that he is a vampire a secret. His actions frequently draw Kaname Kuran's disapproval and he is usually punished for his brashness by the Pureblood. He cares very deeply for his friends and is fiercely loyal to Kaname and Akatsuki Kain.

Takuma Ichijo is a member of the Ichijo Family and the Vice-President of the Night Class at Cross Academy. He is an Aristocrat Vampire and is good friends with Kaname Kuran, whom he is close to and respects. He also possesses the ability to disintegrate matter.Takuma is one of the taller male students in the Night Class, possessing a lean and thin frame. He has ash blonde hair that is kept in a rather unkempt condition like a majority of the male Vampires, and he has forest green eyes. His skin is rather fair but still a bit more tan compared to other of his colleugues such as Senri. On most occasions, he is seen sporting the Night Class uniform. Takuma appears very un-vampire like with his cheerful, enthusiastic, and caring demeanor whether it be towards humans or vampires. However he is also very capable of being deadly and determined when the situation requires. His constant smile and upbeat attitude, even in dark or painful situations, sometimes make it difficult to tell what he’s really thinking or feeling. In school, he took his roommate, Senri Shiki, under his wing and looked after him, becoming quite close to both him and Rima Toya as a result. He is very loyal to his friends and will protect and stand up for them no matter what. Although Takuma usually possesses a carefree attitude, it can be shown that he understands complicated scenarios with an air of maturity, though occasionally showing an immature side. Takuma's hobbies are reading (manga, mysteries, dictionaries), playing rakugo, and performing tea ceremonies.

Kaname has dark-brown hair that is grown up to his collar with his bangs falling onto his face, red-brown eyes and his face expressions are usually calm and tranquil. He is overwhelmingly beautiful with a lean build, and is one of the tallest vampires in the Night Class. Almost all the girls in the Day Class (including a few Night Class vampires) find him exceptionally attractive. Even Zero thinks that he's attractive. Kaname is generally a calm, elegant, stoic and authoritative individual as the Dorm president.

Immaculately clean and neatly pressed (with an exception of Akatsuki Kain) the Night Class sets a perfect example to the Day Class since they literally idolised this Elite group of the Academy. The Night Class uniforms contrasting colours sets them apart from the Day Class with the colour white being the dominant colour of their uniform. The males wear a uniform similar to that of a formal suit. It mainly consists of: a white vest, a black dress shirt, a red tie, a white pair of pants and a white jacket. The Night Class uniform is also customised with the black lining design, customised rose buttons and cuff links. The females wears a similar design, with their uniform colour being also predominantly white along with the intricate black lining design. The uniform consists of a white jacket, black dress shirt, red ribbon, white mini skirt, thigh high socks and a pair of dark coloured boots. It also comes along with the customised rose insignia buttons and cuff links.

Kaname Kuran Takuma Ichijo Hanabusa Aido Akatsuki Kain Ruka Souen Senri Shiki Rima Toya Maria Kurenai

To the Day Class, the Night Class is just an elite group of students. The Night Class students are all extremely beautiful, therefore they have an obsessive fanbase among the Day Class students. At twilight, when the Night Class students leave their dormitory to attend classes; most of the Day Class girls are usually waiting to see them (even the class representative who has a crush on Ruka), and the Guardians (Yuki and Zero) have to struggle to hold them back. Some of them have a habit of greeting them, saying the wrong time of day ("morning" instead of "evening"). When Cross Academy is closed, the Night Class split up to be with their families. The fact that the Night Class students are vampires is kept secret from the Day Class for years, how they keep their bloodlust the Headmaster requests they all take blood tablets to keep them in line, though it does keep them feed and alive most hate the bland taste such as Hanabusa, who often tries to sneak off to drink some real blood. Most of the students in Night class are aristocrats, meaning their of Royal/Noble heredity, each having their own power such as cryokinises, pryokinises, electro abilities, decaying powers, mind bending and some powerful vampires having most maybe strengthening it.

The Cross Academy is a private school, set in the mountains surrounded by thick forests and a large lake separating the dorms and main building, a second lake sits between the two dorms but with no bridge unlike the huge lake, two long bridges along the lake that take each dorms to the main school building. Two seperate classes two seperate sets of teachers, one teachers residence sitting on the same side with the Sun dorm and the other teacher residence sitting on the same side as the Moon dormitories. The reason for this separation? The truth is; the Night Class is full of Vampires, and this truth is hidden from the day class, the Headmaster, Headmaster Cross was once a Vampire hunter and he believes that one day Vampires and Humans can live together with no troubles.
