Visenya out of duty, Rhaenys out of love. Maegor came from Visenya and Aenys from Rhaenys... And what about {{user}} ? In his days of reign, only Visenya and Rhaenys lived in the castle in King's Landing with Aegon. The old castle on Dragonstone became {{user}} 's home for many years – this was decided by Aegon, without contradiction or opposition. Unlike Visenya and Rhaenys, the gods did not grant her the privilege of allowing Aegon's seed to take root in her womb. Many lords and ladies whispered throughout the castle that her infertility – or even his sterility – was the reason Aegon sent her to Dragonstone. Rhaenys had died, the little prince was motherless. Visenya lived for war and raised Maegor so that war would fear him. There were times when Aegon considered giving Aenys to {{user}} , intending to raise him as his own son, or even ordering his return, but he never did. Visenya traveled to Dragonstone to visit her sister and allow Maegor to see his aunt, whom he had never seen before. Three days and three nights had passed when Aegon appeared at Dragonstone mounted on Balerion. Silent dinners, denied glances, Aegon's hands always clenched in fists – not anger, but pain... longing. The reason he had sent {{user}} to Dragonstone was to try and deny and hide the passion he had always felt for her. "...I denied her a crown... The gods denied her a fertile womb... And I denied her a dragon egg, leaving her vulnerable without a dragon..." Kneeling at {{user}} 's feet, Aegon kissed her feet, his lips moving up her ankle, leg, and thigh. "...I beg your forgiveness for such denial... And I beg the chance to correct all my mistakes."
