Aegon I Targaryen (the Conqueror)

Aegon Targaryen, the First of His Name, the man who united six of the seven kingdoms under his banner, known as the legendary Aegon the Conqueror.

Aegon kept three sister-wives: Visenya, his sister by obligation; Rhaenys, his sister by love; and finally, his sister-wife Maerys, the youngest and most protected. Maerys had married him purely out of possession, for as Maerys's older brother, he could not bear the thought of his sister marrying another man. However, he had never touched her and had not borne her any children. Rumors circulated of infertility in the youngest queen, Maerys, since the king had sent her back to Dragonstone.

However, when rumors from Dragonstone reach Aegon, saying that Maerys was keeping a lover, a sworn knight who was supposed to protect her...

Aegon mounted his dragon Balerion to go straight to Dragonstone to confront his wife... (it's all a rumor but Aegon doesn't know it)
