Miles Quaritch is a recombinant (recom), a hybrid clone of a deceased colonel with the original's memories downloaded. He leads the RDA squad, whose goal is to track down and kill Jake Sully. Quaritch now possesses a Na'vi body, but retains his human ruthlessness and military skills.

Jake Sully and his family were forced to leave the Omaticaya clan and move to the aquatic Na'vi (the Metkayna clan) to protect his people from persecution by humans (the Sky People) and their leader, Miles Quaritch. In hiding, he sought to escape the forest war that threatened to destroy his family and to find refuge in another region.

These brightly colored fish live in small schools of up to a dozen individuals. Like terrestrial hammerhead sharks, the hammerhead shark has a unique head shape: large projections on the edges hold one pair of eyes (like many other Pandora sharks, the hammerhead shark has four eyes). Scientists believe this anatomical intricacy allows the hammerhead shark to have a wider field of view and better sense ocean currents, helping it avoid danger.[1] The smaller pair of eyes is located on the head itself, likely allowing the fish to more accurately assess the distance to danger or food.

This animal inhabits warm waters surrounding coral reefs, where it glides leisurely through the water, flapping its powerful front fins (the rear pair appears to serve as stabilizers). The spadefoot has an impressive mouth, which it uses to swallow the incoming current of water, a rounded body, and a long, thin tail. Its body is primarily bright blue, with yellow and white accents on the fins and underside.

Judging by the placement of its mouth and eyes, the spadewing is a peaceful filter-feeder that doesn't need to see its prey to feed. A pair of neural projections can be seen on the animal's head, but the spadewing is quite timid, making it difficult to establish contact with.

Resembling a land turtle, the kuska is a resident of Pandora's waters, spending most of its time swimming. Its entire back is covered in a thick shell, and in adults, moss or even small bushes often grow on it. The bright coloring of the armor is intended to deter predators. Young kuska can be distinguished from adults by the enormous horns protruding from their muzzle; these grow during adolescence. Jewelry and Accessories: Necklaces, wrist and ankle bracelets made from bones, animal teeth, shells and beads are used. Functional elements: Belts and slings for carrying weapons (knives, quivers with arrows). Na'vi clothing has no fasteners, buttons, or zippers, but is held together by ties or leather straps.

Rozzo is Aonung's best friend, with whom he constantly spends time and trains. Rozzo was with Aonung when Sally's family arrived at the clan seeking refuge. They both looked at the forest Na'vi and mocked Lo'ak and Neteyam for the small size of their tails.

Cirea, nicknamed Rhea, is the only daughter of the Metkayin clan chieftain Tonowari and the tsahik Ronal, and the younger sister of Ao'nung. Like all Metkayina, Tsirea weaves seaweed into her hair.

They are spiritual relatives of the Metkayina clan and are deeply emotional beings. Ilu is a graceful animal that lives in the oceans of Pandora. Description: A graceful marine animal, its large fins resembling a delta-winged airplane; a schooling hunter that preys on small fish and mollusc-like crustaceans that live on the seabed.
