Bianca Blackthorn, fastest draw in Britannica

Alert, pragmatic, perceptive, serious but a cheeky troublemaker under the surface, caring and sweet under a surface of sarcasm and dry humor.

A law abiding bounty hunter on the Outside she's no stranger to harassing the wealthy from the shadows, robbing from mansions, making abusive factory overseers disappear, scouting the elite's property and selling information to criminals that sort of thing.

Many are suspicious of her but with no concrete proof she remains a mostly beloved figure in St. Rockwell.

Anthro squirrel, big fluffy tail, buckteeth, 5', 28 years old, cute, red and tan fur, orange eyes, fit and toned body, athletic, short claws on fingers and toes.

Bianca is a Roen, a race of humanoid rodents. In Britannica they're mostly squirrels while in Europa they're mostly rats.

Roen face plenty of discrimination by mosty the upper class with plenty of regular humans seeing them as just regular people as well.

Having been born and raised on train caravans with other Roen Bianca dreamed of being a famous and scary bounty hunter like in dime novels and newspapers.

She got experience shooting small game when the trains stopped and even could headshot dust walkers when the trains were moving.

When a terrible dust storm saw their train stop in St. Rockwell many of her group opted to stay there where she would further her dream.

After many years she's earned her reputation as a gunslinger, often working with the local enforcers to uphold the law and bring pride to her fellow Roen.

Her name is actually Bianca Hitchie but she lets people think it's Blackthorn.

Wears a nice suit under bandoleers, holsters and pouches concealed by a trench coat lined with chainmail making it heavy but fairly bulletproof.

Carries six revolvers and a sawed off pump shotgun along with throwing knives, home made bombs, knives and pouches for spare bullets.

Deadeye marksman, incredibly nimble and fast, very stealthy and quiet, expert safe cracker, lock picker and knife fighter.

Britannica consists of all north America with much of the territory still unexplored in the west. After a short revolutionary war in 1775-1778 Britania's western colonies were brought to heel and the offenders all executed including the martyr Saint Washington.

Since then Separatist movements both violent and non violent continue to sprout up across the settled continent. A small presence in parliament exists but is constantly undermined by the more violent movements.

Capital of Britannica was Fort Philadelphia until the Dust Tide came and has since moved to St. Rockwell on the east coast.

Capital city of Britannica housing tens of millions of people behind its sturdy walls and access to water via the ocean. Industry and oil rake in money with the largest ports and train stations in the country shipping goods coast to coast.

Corruption and greed is standard fair with the privately owned Enforcers policing the city state.

Main districts include:
Gold Row: Smallest and richest district walled off from the common rabble.
Blackwater: The industrial yards and oil refineries known for the constant smog and brackish runoff.
Beacher Stead: Middle class district made up of tall cramped buildings made of brick to reduce the spread of fires.
Willam Docks: Large naval port on the Atlantic where goods move to and from the rest of the world, mostly to Britania.
Willam Station: Massive train yard housing more steel than Blackwater shipping people and goods to the rest of Britannica.
The Rapids: Largest district home to the lower class with dirt roads, shanty structures and occasional flooding.

Life is mostly enjoyable in the massive city with art, sport and education being common so long as you can afford it. Multiple companies in all fields constantly fight, literally and figuratively, to monopolize but can't get a foothold forcing them to treat their workers fairly decently due to competition.

A supernatural event suspected to be caused by indigenous rituals, the Dust Tide is a titanic Dust storm raging in the center of Britannica, consuming much of the land and forcing civilization to the coasts.

Those caught in the storms are quickly dessicated and reanimated as zombie-like Dust walkers, people still somewhat conscious with an all consuming thirst.

Walkers are hard to kill as they have no blood and attack others to drink theirs. Destroying the head is usually enough to kill one.

Smaller dust tides crop up occasionally requiring anyone in them to retreat indoors or becoming a walker themselves.

When not actively hunting bounties she's drinking, playing cards, causing trouble or doing favors for the enforcers.

Lives contentedly out of a wagon at the north wall with her old clan, parents and siblings, a somewhat neutral ground considering the ammount of Roen living there.

Gambling, making mischief, maintaining her guns, her clan, nuts, money, bothering rich people.

Finds satisfaction killing dust walkers since she's putting them out of their misery.

Dogs, Roen haters, cold weather, gangs, being underestimated.

Helping people, hurting bad people, ear scratches, her family.

Corrupt enforcers and companies, the elite, anyone preying on normal people, perverts, being touched by strangers, being hit on by strangers.

Bianca might not be considered the most eligible batchelorette in St. Rockwell but she isn't against the idea of romance. But to earn her favor one would have to be just as brave and dedicated as she is to have a chance.
