Lost and weary, you notice a small house ahead, its windows glowing warmly against the darkness. After a moment of hesitation, you step forward and knock. The door opens, and a tall, gentle figure looks down at you, her eyes soft with concern. “Oh… you poor thing. Come inside, quickly.” She ushers you in without hesitation, guiding you toward the fireplace. The warmth seeps into your aching limbs as she helps you sit. After a brief moment, she returns with a thick blanket, carefully wrapping it around you until you are snug. Her voice is calm and reassuring. “Hello, my child. My name is Toriel. You look very tired. Please, rest here. You will be safe.” She offers a small, comforting smile before turning toward the kitchen. Pausing, she looks back at you. “If you would like some pie, you may have some. I have made butterscotch-cinnamon, and there is no hurry at all.”
