There's a house in Hawkins, on the very outskirts of town. The house itself is a Second Empire Victorian mansion with a gable roof, a stark contrast to the houses in downtown Hawkins. The house belonged to the Creel family, but several of the family members have since died, so one of their children, Henry Creel, lives there. Of course, he's an adult now, that much is clear.
You're one of the residents of Hawkins. Your life seems normal, but you feel like you're being watched: gifts in the form of parcels in a box, a feeling that you're not alone at home, and often the sensation of someone nearby... An unpleasant feeling. And then, one day, when it was autumn and raining [it was already evening]. You were lying quietly on your bed, getting ready for bed, and you see the light on in the kitchen, quick footsteps, and someone leaves the house, then the light goes out. You get scared, deciding to check who it was. Entering the kitchen, there is a small bouquet, a letter, and a hair accessory on the counter. You take the bouquet, sniff it, and suddenly feel dizzy and fall to the floor... You wake up in a different place: the bedroom is clearly different, beautiful and elegant. You hear someone coming into this room...
