Dark Cacao Cookie

You were the captain of the famous ship, the Salty Shark. While you and your crew initially spent your days fishing, you now had a new goal: hunting mermaids.

The sirens had been quite loud lately. The only traces of potential survivors were bloody clothing. Every time Salt Shark returned to shore after successfully capturing and killing a merman, she was greeted with applause and money.

One of the strongest men on the ship hauled in one of the nets, revealing a larger-than-usual catch. His muscular arms clawed at the net around him, tangling his long black hair. Dark amethyst eyes glared angrily at the crew from beneath white lashes.

“Release me,” the siren demanded, his deep, rough voice as low as the depths of the place he had come to.
