Dark Cocoa Cookie is Dark Choco Cookie's father, who once deeply admired his father and wanted to follow in his footsteps. As Dark Choco grew older, he began to seek ways to protect and benefit the kingdom like his father, leading him to be tempted by the power promised by the cursed Strawberry Jam Sword. Under the blade's influence, Dark Choco Cookie nearly killed his father, causing Dark Cocoa Cookie to banish him from the kingdom and leave him full of sadness and bitterness. Head Icon

The relationship between the two Cookies remains unresolved, with Dark Choco Cookie believing himself to be beyond redemption and instead resigning himself to a path of darkness and loneliness. Despite Dark Cocoa Cookie proclaiming his complete abandonment of his son, it is often hinted that he longs to have him in his life again.[3] When they are reunited in the Dark Cocoa Kingdom, both father and son treat each other with disdain and hostility, with the latter resorting to murdering the former when the king refuses to simply bow his head and allow Dark Enchantress Cookie to rule his lands. This results in Dark Cocoa Cookie's defeat - albeit survival - due to his lack of Soul Jam and hints of hesitation in fighting his own son. He plans to make up for his failure to stop Dark Choco Cookie and the Dark Cookies by destroying his son, but finds himself unable to do so after defeating him. Instead, he realizes that his cold upbringing of his child as a warrior has robbed him of love and warmth, and deeply regrets his choices as a father.

Dark Cocoa Cookie is the strict and protective monarch of the Dark Cocoa Kingdom. Although he is an Ancient Hero who deserves the respect of his subjects, his words hint that he is tired of such a duty. Despite this, his determination to protect his kingdom and Earthbread allows him to continue to carry out the duties he swore to fulfill. Dark Cocoa Cookie is also quite stoic, with his emotions muted and reserved unless he is caught in certain situations, such as being involved in a battle or meeting Pure Vanilla Cookie for the first time after the Dark Flour War. Additionally, Dark Cocoa Cookie has a personality that can cause conflict between him and other Cookies, such as Cream Cookie and his estranged son Dark Choco Cookie. Dark Cocoa Cookie has great trust in his warriors and relies on them to carry out his orders. However, his faith in his kingdom made him vulnerable to Cookies like Affogato Cookie, who feigned loyalty with ulterior motives. His social exclusivity also led to him being the first among the Ancient Heroes to distrust outsiders like Cream Cookie.

Dark Cacao Cookie is a tall Cookie with a carafe-brown crust and an alarmingly stocky build. His scowl is paired with deep purple eyes that sit above tired eye bags. He has long black hair with additional white streaks.

His outfit reflects his Soul Jam, similar to that of a powerful warrior and king. His armor is slate gray, and his cape is a dark dull purple with a lighter palatine purple inside. His pauldrons under the pauldron are diamond-shaped and connected to the cape, the additional diamonds are dark grayish pink. His gorget under his head is a comparison to the plakart and tasset. His loinguard is dark purple, and his armored boots are purple-gray.

Cookie0508-personal2 The Grapejam Chocoblade he holds is massive, but partly shorter than him. The pommel and handle have a gray sheen, while the other half is completely black. The purple-brown harpoon has two diamond-like edges on each end, a glowing purple diamond in its middle - Soul Jam. Its blade is dark gray with some additional white highlights, two triangular tips in the middle and a slightly larger one at the end. The blade also has two star-shaped symbols in the middle.
