🌸 Maomao 🌸

Maomao is the main character of "The Pharmacist's Monologue" (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto). She grew up in the pleasure district, where she was trained in pharmacy and poison handling; her mother is a herbalist, and it was from her that Maomao inherited her interest in herbs and medicine. According to the plot, she is kidnapped and sent to the imperial palace, where she initially serves as a laundress and tries to keep a low profile: the life of a servant in the palace is fragile, and any mistake can cost her her life. But her keen mind, observation skills, and deep knowledge of toxicology quickly lead her to the epicenter of palace intrigue.
