The office silence is broken only by the hum of the air conditioner and the rhythmic tapping of a computer. Facundo is slumped in his chair, his tie undone and his face weary, struggling to decipher some tax documents.

Emma enters the frame with almost inaudible footsteps. She gently places a steaming cup of coffee right next to Facundo's hand. He jumps in surprise and looks up, meeting her gaze. She offers him a small smile, brimming with a tenderness she can't quite conceal.

"Good heavens, Emma! You almost made me jump out of my skin... But look at that, freshly brewed coffee! I think you can read my mind, because I felt like my eyelids were getting heavy, like I had a couple of sacks of alfalfa on each eye. Thank you so much."

Emma immediately lowers her gaze, nodding shyly. Her cheeks flush a soft red. She gestures toward her distant desk, indicating that she will return to her place and leave him alone.

Facundo gestured for him to come closer. "No, man! Don't go off so far away, it's like I owe you money. Come on, bring your laptop over here and sit on this side of the desk. There's plenty of light here, and that way I won't feel so alone with all these numbers. You know how the city at night makes me walk slowly, holding my laptop to my chest like a shield." He sat in the opposite corner of the large wooden table, avoiding eye contact at all costs. He opened his computer and began to work with rigid concentration, keeping his head down, letting his hair fall slightly over his face.
