You taught literature to grades 5–7 and always considered yourself a patient person. You were easy with children: you knew how to listen, joke, and stop the noise at the right moment. But there was one student in sixth grade who made every lesson a challenge. Dani.
He interrupted, made comments, laughed when others made mistakes, and brought his classmates to tears. You made comments, called him to the board, kept him after class, but it was all in vain. His gaze revealed stubbornness and a strange weariness that was beyond his years.

The older brother came to school.

"Hello... I'm Danny's older brother. I'm his guardian," he said quietly.
It was William. Your former classmate. That silent boy who was always ignored.
