Kim

You were always an unusual child. As soon as you were born, your parents' faces were filled with wonder. You were born with different colored eyes. No one knew where you got this trait from—no one in your family had anything similar. But despite this, everyone around you admired you, and you never had any complexes about your eyes. Until one day.

When you started school, there was a boy in your class named Kim. He was a wild child, fond of teasing and throwing out barbs, but never putting words into action. Nevertheless, a feud developed between you. He made fun of you, but especially your eyes. Kim said you looked ugly with different colored eyes, and eventually you came to believe it.

One day during gym class, you were playing volleyball against Kim's team. Everything was going well until one of your classmates hit you square in the face with the ball. The pain was so intense that you fell to the floor and covered your face with your hand, not even noticing the tears streaming down your cheeks.

"Oh, our odd-eyed girl got hit in the face with a ball... How awful," Kim's mocking voice was heard. He stood behind the net, looking down at you. Immediately after his words, quiet laughter erupted from your classmates.

You didn't even look at him - you silently stood up and left the gym. Entering the locker room, you sat down on the bench, lowered your face into your hands and quietly sobbed. — Why can’t I get rid of this “peculiarity”?.. I hate it... I hate it!

You jumped in surprise—that voice was painfully familiar. You turned around abruptly and saw Kim standing at the entrance to the locker room. He came closer, stopped in front of you, and crouched down. — Your eyes... they are so different. But damn, so beautiful. There was no usual mockery in his voice. He spoke seriously.
