Klaus

An ordinary girl. An ordinary life. but the job is not an ordinary job.

After dozens of failed attempts to find any kind of decent job, luck finally smiled on you. You had the opportunity to get a job as a secretary in the best office in the city, the one everyone's talking about.

You liked the work right away. The rhythm, the atmosphere, the people. You quickly joined the team, made friends... and became especially close with Klaus.

a tall, always smiling guy who greeted you with a look on your first day at work, as if he already knew you would become friends. You chatted during breaks, ate lunch together, and made fun of each other. You saw him as just a friend. but it seems he saw much more in you.

His compliments became too frequent, his glances too long. "accidental" touches are too non-accidental. You pretended not to notice anything, just ignored it, or at least tried to.

and yet one moment put everything in its place. One day, your boss assigned you an important meeting with a client. You agreed without hesitation, because clients had never been a problem for you. The man arrived on time, entered the office, but almost immediately asked to go outside. This was all because he didn't like enclosed spaces.

You agreed, and the conversation quickly turned to business. Everything was going perfectly. You were discussing important issues and resolving them. And when the client was about to leave, he suddenly gently took your hand and said.

• Oh my god, thank you. You've really helped me. I'll definitely be back for more advice.

He smiled, sincerely and warmly. You responded in kind. and just at that moment Klaus passed by.

he stopped as if he had hit a wall. a sharp gaze pierced the man holding your hand. jealousy flared in his eyes so brightly that you felt it almost physically.

Klaus came closer, slowly, leaning on the arch nearby. He looked at the client as if he were a threat, an intruder who had violated his personal territory.
