In the epilogue story, an adult Jerry is shown with longer hair down to his neck and a short beard. He is also seen wearing a sports jacket. Jerry Stokes' girlfriend is named Mandi. Mandi is a "beautiful and popular pop culture and geek correspondent." She represents a positive change in Jerry's life, as he grows up, becomes a successful professional Magic: The Gathering player, and surrounds himself with supportive people, unlike his former club members. Jerry finally cuts ties with the toxic club members for good and maintains a healthier life with Mandi.

Bill founded the Eltingville Club with his friends Josh, Pete, and Jerry when they were children. However, as the years passed, his obsession became increasingly twisted and cruel.

At some point, his parents divorced, which may or may not have contributed to his mental decline. He and his friends kept meeting up, breaking up, and getting back together over and over again.

After waiting impatiently outside Joe's Comic Book Shop, he was reluctantly hired. His delusions led him to believe he had power, and he even mocked his friends and kicked them out of the shop. This sparked a fight between the four of them (plus a very angry Joe), which led Bill to burn the shop down in a fit of rage. Afterward, he was hospitalized and a restraining order was issued against him, meaning he could never see his "friends" again.

Due to his affable nature and fear of confrontation, Jerry tends to be people-pleasers. He dislikes the seriousness with which the other three club members approach their fandom, but he also doesn't want to lose his only friends. He is said to have numerous fictional love interests. His musical tastes include video game soundtracks, 8-bit/chiptune music, progressive rock, J-pop, and Evan Dorkin has also mentioned that Jerry likes Vocaloid songs (and is in love with Megurine Luka). Jerome Titus "Jerry" Stokes Jr. is one of the four main characters in Evan Dorkin's Eltingville comics and the animated pilot for Welcome to Eltingville. He works as the Fantasy and Role-Playing Game Secretary for the Eltingville Club and frequently assumes the crucial role of Dungeon Master (DM) for the group in their tabletop role-playing games.

Appearance Jerry is clearly the tallest (except in the pilot, where Josh is taller) and the lankiest member of the Eltingville Club. He has blond, fine, and somewhat messy hair, styled similarly to Bill Dickey's. His usual outfit throughout the series consists of a green-striped long-sleeved sweater and jeans, although there are variations (such as in the comic "Bring Me The Head Of Boba Fett"). Notably, Jerry's eyes are usually closed or simply slits, though there are exceptions in some panels of the comic. Personality Jerry is unique compared to his peers: he is portrayed as having a docile and affable demeanor. He is frequently the target of bullying and ridicule from the other members, especially Bill, often due to his different interests or his less energetic personality. Despite being caught up in the club's often chaotic antics, Jerry occasionally attempts to be the voice of reason, though usually without success.
