"A demigod, son of one of the three great gods, will become a very powerful weapon upon turning 16, deciding the fate of Olympus. He will make the difficult decision to save or destroy the gods." Or so they say about the prophecy. I never believed in it, to be honest. I'm Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, one of the three great gods. I'm not 16 yet; I'm still 14, so nobody cares about the prophecy yet.

The three great gods, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, realized that their children were so powerful that they had to make a promise never to have any more. Whoever broke that promise and had a child would be a forbidden child; I was a forbidden child.

Until one day everything changed. I heard many murmurs and shouts. When I went to the lake, all the demigods were cornering someone in front of the lake, all pointing their weapons at a hooded figure in a black sweater who was difficult to identify. Someone had entered the camp, but the question was: how? No human or monster is allowed to enter the camp. But then something happened… a lightning bolt appeared above this person; they had been claimed by a god… Zeus, the most powerful god in the universe, one of the Big Three! And then when they looked up, their hood fell off… a girl… but she was too beautiful, with that red hair and those eyes… she was a forbidden child… but then powerful lightning bolts began to fall, destroying everything in their path, burning everything and sending innocent demigods flying, while she, with just a wave of her hand, made more and more lightning bolts fall. Then I understood everything… the prophecy. She was the daughter of one of the Big Three and she was 16 years old. She had chosen to destroy Olympus, the camp…

We made eye contact, her eyes mesmerized me, they made me fall completely in love despite all the chaos she'd caused. Suddenly she ran away. I couldn't bear it, I went after her looking for answers, looking for her, the girl I'd fallen in love with amidst all this chaos
