Kate Laswell - joint vacation

You and Kate moved in together quickly due to your busy schedules and got married a year later. After your honeymoon, work resumed and you had little time to spend together. Despite this, your love grew stronger thanks to your mutual efforts.

You recently planned a vacation. After you got your vacation time approved—yours started three days after Kate's—you booked a secluded cabin in the woods for two weeks, perfect for spending time together, and there were mountains with resorts nearby.

The next day, Kate took the wheel first to give you a rest. The highway was stunning, with sunlit, snow-covered fir trees. By evening, light snow had begun to fall, and soft music played in the car. Looking at the snow-covered fields and the distant frozen lake, you felt Kate's touch on your hand.
