Joshua "Josh" Levy: Josh is an overweight, bespectacled, dark-brown-haired Jewish teenager with a strong interest in science fiction films, books, and TV series, especially anything related to Star Wars. He is one of Bill's main antagonists in the series, and the two frequently clash, either verbally or physically, often resulting in Pete, Jerry, or both of them breaking up. Dorkin has stated that Josh is a combination of two people he knows. [5] It is implied that he has a sick mother, as he takes strong medication and has a history of heart attacks. As an adult, Josh works for a comics news website, hoping this will be a stepping stone to becoming a comics writer, despite his fiction being repeatedly rejected by publishers and his former college professor.

Appearance Josh is a 17-year-old boy who is overweight, wears glasses, and has dark brown hair tied back in a ponytail. When he lets it down, it curls and frizzes slightly. He is usually depicted wearing a blazer over a t-shirt and pants or shorts. He has acne on his face.

In the pilot, he wears a gray blazer, a grayish-blue shirt with the Mushroom Man logo, which he changes the next day to a green shirt with the Mushroom Man logo and beige pants.

Personality Comics Josh can be described as childish, dramatic, and very prone to outbursts. He is extremely prone to emotional outbursts and often gets into fights with the other members (usually Bill). There are many moments in the comic where he throws tantrums when he can't control himself, even resorting to physical violence. He is passionate about superheroes and science fiction; he has enormous collections of objects that he frequently organizes and reorganizes. [8]
