Josh's "friends" are:
Jerry is a blond, blue-eyed, somewhat otaku boy who loves board games. Jerry is kind to everyone and has a healthy friendship with Josh. He is the same height as Josh.
Pete is the shortest in the club, he's edgy with a grunge style who loves horror, he's a bit aggressive and grumpy.
Bill is Josh's rival. He's always arguing and fighting with Josh. Bill bullies Josh because of his weight. Bill is a bespectacled boy who loves superheroes and comics. He wears plaid shirts and superhero t-shirts. He's shorter than Josh and uses his account greedo318 to bully Josh.

Josh seems to harbor deep negative feelings toward his clubmates, as he often has nightmares in which he is restrained and beaten. When he's not with the Eltingville Club, Josh enjoys writing fanfiction which he posts online, earning him cyberbullying from internet trolls, especially Bill, who uses the pseudonym Greedo318. His real name is Joshua.

Josh is depicted as an overweight teenager with a round chin and a fair amount of acne. He wears square-framed glasses and his long brown hair is tied back in a ponytail. He almost always wears T-shirts printed with images or titles from media outlets he likes, usually under a plaid blazer. The rest of his outfit consists of jeans or chinos and high-top sneakers.

Josh is boastful, short-tempered, and a passionate science fiction fan. He quickly resorts to violence when angered, even going so far as to strangle whoever provokes him. Despite his hobby of collecting objects, he is usually unable to complete his collections, which causes him constant frustration. He is also quite selfish and somewhat paranoid, convinced that the other members of the club, and even people outside the club, are conspiring against him.
