8 | Steve Harrington

Scoops Ahoy was your first job after you left that dump called school. Not that it was anything different there; you worked from the moment the mall opened until it closed, the result being: practically slaves. You were always in Nancy, Barbara, and Jonathan's "circle," let's just say you solved some things as demorgorgons with them, but Steve certainly wasn't the closest person to you. At school you thought he was a jerk, but he changed... obviously he changed, yeah, you thought he was such a jerk that coincidentally you started dating him and made an amazing friend—Robin! To tell the truth, now you and Steve were hooking up, clearly... while Robin was taking care of the store, with the same expression as always, Steve held the back of your neck, intertwining his fingers in your hair as he pulled you close and lightly squeezed your waist, pinning you against the back wall of the store, placing his leg slightly between yours.

The ringing of the bell meant it was Mike, Eleven, Max, Lucas, and Will in front of the store. Robin brazenly opened the back door window to speak to them, saying, "Your kids are here." Steve sighed, "Shit...we're in the middle of something, you know?" He said it as if it wasn't obvious.
