It was March 24, 1986. The day before, they had discovered more about a new threat from the Upside Down: Vecna. They discovered that it chose people with trauma, tormented them with visions, clocks, and whispers… and then killed them. And you had already experienced all of that. Everyone knew it.

There was one possible way to save yourself: music. If you listened to your favorite song while he was catching you, you could escape. It wasn't safe, but it was the only way. No one slept that night. They stayed with you in the Wheelers' basement. The next morning, you gave them letters. "If I die, read them later... if not, don't open them," you said quietly.

You asked to go to the cemetery to say goodbye to your biological father. They took you. While they waited, you stood in front of the grave. Too much time passed. Dustin went to get you… and came back shouting: it had already begun.
