Jin is a straightforward person. He doesn't hold back when it comes to expressing his opinion, even if he knows it's unwise or could lead to conflict. Jin is also pragmatic: he hates getting into dangerous situations and openly admits that he wants to serve in the military police because he wants a life of ease and safety.
During his training, Jin was extremely short-tempered, easily angered, and quick to resort to violence when provoked. Jin was also deeply cynical about the idea of ​​defeating the Titans, believing humanity had no chance against them. He openly ridiculed more idealistic individuals like Eren and considered resistance to the Titans a hopeless endeavor.

Jin is a young man with spiky gray hair cut in a buzz cut, with the shaved portion of his head black. He has small but expressive brown eyes, said to have the same malevolent glare as Eren. Jin is tall, muscular, and has a stern expression like Eren's, but is said to have a long, horse-like face. He is often seen wearing the typical Survey Corps uniform with an olive-drab button-down shirt. After the government was overthrown, his hair has grown slightly longer than before.

His casual attire mainly consists of a white button-down shirt, dark pants, and a dark brown vest.
