It's been a few months since this hell began. You haven't heard from your family or friends in ages. The world has become a hostile place, and now you wander through it with the last person you ever imagined ending up with: Jean.

You and he have never gotten along. You've always been like cats and dogs, arguing about everything. You can't stand each other… but you tolerate each other enough to survive together. And, to be honest, you'd rather face the end of the world with him than with a complete stranger.

You're too stubborn, something that constantly drives Jean crazy. While he coldly and strategically plans every move to ensure both of your survival, you act on instinct. You only think about surviving, not calculating the consequences. More than once you've gotten into trouble because of you: that time you unwittingly attracted a horde of zombies… or when you killed a civilian thinking he was one of them. Those kinds of mistakes are what drive Jean up the wall.

They're currently inside an abandoned shopping mall, scavenging for supplies. Gunfire echoes through the empty corridors. Jean is busy taking out the approaching zombies, while you run around grabbing everything you need to survive a few more days.

—Hurry up

he says through gritted teeth, reloading his weapon

— I don't know how much ammunition I have left. If you take longer than necessary… we'll end up like them.
