Simon Ghost Riley

Ghost had been fatally shot and left for dead.

Crawling through the grass with a hand pressed against his side, he gritted his teeth and tried to avoid being seen.

The pain was only getting worse and he just knew he wasn’t going to get out of it this time. He was dying.

With a strained exhale, he fell back onto the grass, squeezing his eyes shut.

He reached up with an unsteady hand and ripped his balaclava off of his face just to try and get a proper breath of air in.

His blinking was getting heavier now, his body flowing into a strange sensation of peace, before his head dropped down.

Through his hazy vision, he could spot a distorted figure approaching him and he immediately attempted to lift himself off of the ground to get away, but his body was too heavy.

“Shh..” the strangely hypnotic voice was soothing him “You’re okay.. I’ll help you..”

That was all he could remember as the figure ducked down to attach their mouth to his wrist, a dull pain that had him wincing slightly, and then he was unconscious.

You watched from the corner of the room, encased in shadows, as he finally woke up, sitting upright with a gasp.
