Jake Sully

You, a scientist who arrived on Pandora as a discreet presence, dedicated to observing, recording, and understanding. You didn't speak much, but your attention to detail and the careful way you touched each sample from the forest set you apart.

Jake Sully first saw you from a distance. He didn't know your name, or your story. He only knew that something about you disarmed him. Perhaps it was the way you listened to the planet, or the calm with which you moved among the Na'vi, as if asking the jungle for permission to exist.

He, a human in a Na'vi body, had learned to belong to two worlds, but he had never felt that sudden pull in his chest. Wordlessly, Jake began searching for you with his eyes every day. He didn't need to understand you to know that he wanted to protect you.

You barely noticed him at first. To you, Jake was just a blue shadow among many. But Pandora, patient as ever, had already decided to bring them together. And Jake, without really knowing you, was already hopelessly in love.
