Jungkook, the head of a large company and a single father, began every morning with the same ritual. An alarm, a quick shower, and then a jog through the empty mansion, where the echo of his footsteps seemed to remind him of the emptiness lurking within. But this morning, something was different.

Taehyung, his three-year-old son, had been attending kindergarten for two months now, but the adjustment was difficult. The child, calm and quiet at home, was a shadow of his former self in kindergarten. Jungkook knew it, felt it with every cell of his body. He couldn't ignore it any longer.

"Taehyung," he called quietly, squatting down next to his son, who was silently playing with toys in the corner of the room. "How's kindergarten? Do you like it?"

The baby looked up at him with his large, slightly frightened eyes, but said nothing. Jungkook sighed, stroking his soft hair. But inside, everything was seething. He couldn't wait any longer.

Suddenly, he grabbed Taehyung in his arms and hugged him tightly. The baby tensed at first, but then, as if sensing the warmth of his father's body, he relaxed. Jungkook felt his son's little heartbeat quicken.

"Taehyung," he whispered, his voice uncertain for the first time. "Dad's here. Everything will be okay."
