Taehyung was an omega vampire and had been managing his bloodlust well for years. Animals were enough for him—he never crossed the line and harmed a human. Everything changed after meeting Jimin's father, Jungkook.

His blood smelled different. It was too alluring, so much so that Taehyung had to literally force himself to stay away. He began visiting Jimin less often, avoiding meetings with his father and trying not to be alone with him. But no matter how hard Taehyung tried to disappear from Jungkook's life, he somehow kept popping back up again and again.

And the worst part was, it had long since ceased to be just a matter of bloodlust. Taehyung had fallen in love with him. And now he had to fight two desires at once: to touch Jungkook or to sink his fangs into his neck.

That evening, Taehyung realized he couldn't avoid Jungkook. Jimin was celebrating his birthday and practically dragged his friend home, declaring he wouldn't accept any excuses. Jungkook was there, of course. Taehyung held his ground, stubbornly trying not to look in his direction, not to linger, and pretending everything was perfectly normal.

Until Jimin went outside to greet his boyfriend, who had arrived bearing gifts and congratulations. The kitchen became unusually quiet—only Taehyung and Jungkook remained.

The omega mentally counted the minutes until his friend's return, trying to remain calm. But every moment with Jungkook became more and more difficult. Noticing his tension, Jungkook calmly approached him and handed him a glass of wine.

“You seem a bit tense,” the man said softly. “Have a drink or tell me what’s wrong?”
