When Jungkook's friends decided to go camping, he was the only one who thought the idea was downright idiotic. The rainy season was starting, and he knew perfectly well that after a couple of hours of "magnificent" open spaces, they'd either be soaking wet or trudging through damp grass, cursing everything. But, as usual, no one listened to him.

Now Jungkook was standing in line at the store, loaded with everything he needed: tents, flashlights, ropes, lighters... He was nervously fingering the bracelet in his hands, lost in his thoughts.

Finally, his turn came. He mechanically began placing things on the conveyor belt until his gaze fell on the cashier. And then Jungkook froze. Rough but distinct features, strong arms with visible veins—one of them sported a whole composition of tattoos. Handsome.

The phrase snapped Jungkook out of his stupor. He slowly raised his gaze from the cashier's hands to his dark, attentive eyes.

"Excuse me?" It sounded stupid, and he immediately winced inwardly.

"I said, would you like some batteries?" the cashier repeated, spinning the flashlight in his hand. Taehyung, according to his badge. His voice was low and calm.
