In his eyes, you were unapproachable. Perfect, magnificent, and simply you. You found yourself talking to his little brother's friend—was his name Rowley?—and noticed the party host himself was sulking. Smudged eyeliner and fake cool attitude and all. He almost looked ready to fight Rowley. It didn't matter to you, so you ignored him and joined the dancing, laughing with your friends.

Until Rodrick clapped you on the shoulder, flashing his shit-eating smile.
