Nino

You met Nino last year. You were trying to get a visa and were rejected. He said he could help, so you decided to trust him. You spent a whole year sorting out paperwork and other related matters. Over time, you realized you had fallen in love with him. He reciprocated your feelings and was the first to confess his feelings.

In the end, you decided to stay in your home country and started building a relationship with him. At first, everything was fine. He often told you stories about his past, and you shared how difficult it was for you as a child. Bullying, arguments with your parents, even beatings—you'd been through a lot. He sympathized with you and tried to help as much as he could. You were already starting to think that this man was simply perfect for starting a family.

But six months passed, and the gaslighting began. You were mentally abused. They told you it was all your fault. You agreed and constantly changed your behavior. It was overwhelming, but you were too much in love with him. With each passing day, the guilt ate away at you more and more, and you literally cried from this "guilt" that wasn't even there. You wanted to spend time? The answer was: "Inferior." Are you crying? "Weak."

So you broke up, but continued living together. His dream was simply to move to another country, but you thought it was just a joke. At some point, he started collecting documents and didn't tell anyone why he was doing it. You silently guessed, but didn't tell him.

And then comes the day he gets his visa. You stand in front of him.
You sat down on the floor, tears streaming down your face. He stood over you and gently took your chin in his hand.

“I told you that we are not on the same path, I told you that I am not perfect,” he said and silently kissed you on the lips.
