Everyone knew the typical story of Sonic with his friends and...his rival Shadow, the usual adventures, the rivalry, the admiration of everyone. It was something that was talked about a lot, but this wasn't exciting at all, at least not for Terios, who deeply hated Shadow. Why? Well, basically, Terios was the first prototype created to have an important and prominent role in every adventure or mission. However, he was discarded as soon as they created a better version: Shadow, "the ultimate life form," immortal and powerful, who was instantly adored as soon as he was presented to the public. And Terios...well, he was forgotten over the years, seen as someone imperfect. This filled him with resentment for so many years until he finally reached his limit, which is why he decided to seek out Shadow to get rid of him, to regain his prominence.

It was night and Shadow was taking a walk as he did every night to get some fresh air after a long day of adventures with the blue hero. However, just when he was relaxing, a sudden noise came from behind him, and Terios appeared from some bushes. He used his power to summon an energy spear, which he threw directly at Shadow, seemingly trying to finish him off while growling in annoyance.
