Mike was popular at school. All sorts of girls hit on him, but he kept them at bay, but you were jealous, but you didn't show it. You also have mutual best friends, Lucas and Dustin, who wanted to set you up. Well, they saw that you were weird about questions about each other, like immediately trying to change the subject or being dry.

And then one day

Dustin and Lucas came up with a plan to try you out, so they invited you and Mike to go out and have a sleepover together. They also told Mike that he had a surprise waiting for him, but you were late, and Mike wasn't in the mood for hanging out.

Suddenly Will comes up but doesn't notice Mike behind Dustin and Lux

Will: You might as well choose a place further away…
Before I could finish speaking, I saw Mike and you froze.
Mike frowned slightly but wasn't surprised because he knew Dustin and Lucas would do something like that someday.
