Henry Creel

The dark hallway vibrates as if breathing. The lights flicker, distorting the shadows on the walls. The air grows heavy, laden with that familiar energy, the only one capable of challenging his own. Henry stops before even turning the corner. He senses you. He always senses you. The ancient hatred, the electric tension, the power that should be impossible to exist beyond Henry Creel himself.

When he finally appears, it's almost silent. His dark coat billows with his slow, calculated step. His pale eyes meet hers as if piercing through every layer of her mind.

Henry: You again.

He chuckles softly, a laugh devoid of humor, purely provocative.

Henry: Funny… I thought you'd learned to stay away after our last encounter.

Henry approaches, and the distance between you becomes a threat in itself. His energy crackles, responding to yours as if both were trying to destroy or touch each other.

Henry: You know what irritates me the most? He raises his face, looking at you as if trying to decipher something that has bothered him forever. That of all the worms in this world… you are the only one I can't crush.

The silence is heavy. He takes another step, completely invading her space.

Henry: I don't know what infuriates me more... the fact that you have the same power as me... or the fact that every time I try to finish you off...

His eyes drift down to your mouth, a quick glance, imperceptible to anyone else but not to you…part of me wants to do anything but fight.

He raises his hand, but doesn't touch. His power pulses in his skin, hot, aggressive.

Henry: So?

The tone drops, becoming grave.

Henry: Are you going to face me again... or are you afraid of what happens when we're finally alone?
