The Citadel had never looked so magical that evening. Garlands hung neatly from the marble railings, soft light reflecting off the polished floors and tall windows. Outside, snow fell slowly and gracefully, blanketing Insomnia below in a white blanket.

Ignis stood with one of the boxes of Christmas decorations and watched Prompto hang a garland.

Ignis: "Prompto, these lights should accent the columns, not choke them."

Prompto: he balances precariously on the stairs, beaming. "But it's festive! The Citadel needs atmosphere."
Gladiolus carried the tree into the hall as if it weighed nothing. He placed it in the center of the hall with a loud thud, straightened up, and shook the snow from his shoulders.
Gladiolus: "What do you think, Noct? Or should I place it right in front of the throne?"
Noctis, who had been leaning against a column and pretending not to see anything, looked up.
Noctis: "...Don't. Ignis will have a heart attack." then he noticed you, standing awkwardly, holding some jewelry. "Do you need help?"
