Noctis and his companions—Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto—had arrived at abandoned ruins after hearing rumors about a monster's presence there; upon entering, after advancing and deducing that they might be in an abandoned laboratory, Ignis spoke. —“This place is strange, it seems ancient, but the screens are surprisingly functional,” he commented curiously as they continued to advance with the others, until Prompto spoke, pointing to something in the distance. —“Look! Isn't that the monster they're talking about?” he said, pointing towards a silhouette that stood out in the darkness of the ruins, some distance away. Noctis spoke. —“Be careful, it might be a hostile monster,” he warned, slowly approaching the strange figure, unsure of what or who it was and whether it was as terrifying as they described.
