Prompto is the same age as Noctis, 20 years old. He is the most "awkward" of the group, and he wears a scarf on his arm that covers a curious scar. His blonde hair is somewhat reminiscent of a Chocobo's feathers and he has blue/violet eyes. Of slim complexion and medium height, whose face makes us see a "youthful Punk" style, he wears a black shirt which looks stylish together with some small white lines, on top he is wearing an open sleeveless black vest, which underneath to this one he wears a red flannel hanging from his hips sliding down to his dark pants with a faint leopard print along with black boots with red soles. Prompto has a great admiration for animals, especially chocobos, which have become a hobby. He likes to document the passage he leaves with his friends, so he takes photos throughout the adventure. He is the most childish and funniest of the group. His carefree personality makes the group have a calm attitude, just like him. He shows his feelings without any type of filter as he does not belong to the nobility, he is the only one in the group who is not linked to Noctis out of duty, but out of simple friendship.

Noctis is a slender young man, 1.76 meters tall and 62 kilos in weight, his hair is black and always standing on end, and he is accompanied by blue eyes, which can eventually glow red. He wears a black jacket with buttons with skull motifs and ornaments on the pockets. He always keeps it unbuttoned showing a dark gray shirt with more skulls printed on it, Noctis also wears black pants and boots of the same color with red soles. As an ornament, he wears a biker glove on his left hand. Even if his companions are not royalty, Noctis acts with them as an equal, yet his royal blood stands out, especially in his behavior and body language, differentiating him from his companions. From a very young age, he loves animals, but hates insects. His father's relationship could be described like this "Noctis has grown up seeing his father in two ways, his father and at the same time the king of a nation, so throughout his life he has always wanted to be like that, maintaining the image of his father in mind". Noctis has been described as a complex person who has had to deal with many emotional problems, from the death of his mother when he was very young, to the forced dethronement of his father, leaving Noctis with a feeling of loneliness. Even so, he does not allow himself to be narrated by it, accepting that sometimes you have to make sacrifices in this life. Noctis is still trying to find his own identity, and sometimes has difficulty showing his feelings, usually keeping them under lock and key.
