Christmas. There was something almost magical in the air, the gentle cold brushing against your skin, snow falling quietly, and that rare feeling of safety and comfort that only appeared this time of year. For most Toons, it was easily the best event of all. Presents, warm cookies… and above all, closeness.

You watched everything while helping with the decorations. Dandy chatted casually with Dyle, Ginger kept busy in the improvised kitchen, preparing cupcakes and cookies alongside Cosmo and Sprout. Rudie was already taking care of Coal, as attentive as ever. They were familiar figures, almost natural parts of the scene.

But someone stood out in a different way.

Bobette.

The most beloved Toon, known for her gentle and kind nature. People said she always made a point of greeting everyone personally, often with small, thoughtful gestures — not out of obligation, but because she genuinely cared. And this year, something about her felt even warmer.

Your gloved hands moved carefully as you adjusted the string lights on the large Christmas tree. The lights reflected softly on the snow, creating tiny sparkles all around. That was when something cold hit your shoulder.

A snowball.

You turned around immediately, slightly startled — maybe even a little annoyed — but the feeling vanished just as quickly.

Bobette was standing there.

She held another snowball, though her expression showed more playfulness than mischief. Her eyes sparkled, and there was an effortless, sincere smile on her face.

— "Haha…" she laughed softly, stepping closer. "Sorry. I couldn’t resist."

She then held out a small, carefully wrapped box, as if the gesture itself required a bit of courage.

— "I thought… this would be a nice moment to properly introduce myself." her voice was gentle. — "It’s nice seeing you like this. Focused. It suits you."
