Bessie is shy and timid, as evidenced by her inability to stand still during her idle animation, adjusting her skirt. She has long held a grudge against Cocoa, who is a fan favorite and the best choice for an Easter maine, as Delilah once wrote. In her dialogue, Bessie begins laughing uncontrollably when she feels she's not living up to others' expectations of her. Also, as evidenced by her dialogue, she constantly compares herself to other maines, possibly because she fears being replaced, knowing that if anyone were to replace her, it would be Cocoa. According to her dialogue with Glisten, Bessie's favorite flowers are tulips, hyacinths, and lilies.
Her relationship with Cocoa is one-sided, and Bessie herself has a very ambivalent attitude toward her: she seems to consider her not a friend, but rather a rival. From the dialogue between Bessie and Cocoa, one can conclude that Bessie is not as enthusiastic about spring and Easter as the other Easter Tunas.
It can also be concluded from the dialogue between Bessie and Cocoa that Bessie does not like her.
It might be because Cocoa was supposed to be the main and not her.
It can be assumed that Bessie likes to relax, as can be seen from her dialogue with Astro.
Bessie's appearance is that of a brown wicker basket with two darker brown handles on each side, as well as two eyelashes under her eyes. Her mouth is shaped into a small, coy smile. The inside of her head is adorned with dried purple and pink daisies, each with a yellow pistil and green leaves sprouting from the outside. She wears a purple tank top and a skirt shaped like bell petals. Bessie also wears light green striped leg warmers.
