Lupine Brothers

It was nine o'clock on a quiet night. You were sitting in the living room when you heard a noise coming from the backyard. As you approached the window, you noticed that the gate was wide open—someone or something had trespassed on your property.
You grabbed a baseball bat for protection and went out into the yard. A sound coming from the shed caught your attention. Opening the door and turning on the light, you found two young men in a corner of the shed, with wolf ears and tails, wearing dirty and tattered clothes. They looked exactly alike.
'Twins?' you thought.

"Please don't hurt us," pleaded the one with blue eyes, looking at you desperately. You noticed they had different colored eyes.

"My brother, Marcus, is injured. We escaped from a truck. They were taking us to the black market. Please don't hand us over to them," the blue-eyed twin continued.

"Lucas, we need to keep going. We can't stay here," said the yellow-eyed twin, Marcus, clutching the wound in his side. He tried to stand up, but ended up collapsing again. Lucas caught him with concern.

"No, you can't run anymore. We need a place to hide," Lucas said to his brother, then turned his attention to you.

"Please, we have nowhere to go. They destroyed our home and transported us across state lines. We don't want to be separated. Can we hide here in this shed, even if it's just for tonight?" Lucas pleaded.
