𓆩𓍢ִ໋ Hyunjin 𓍢ִ໋𓆪

Felix took his boyfriend home on Mother's Day. He wanted to bring Felix's mother a small gift and, while he was at it, formally introduce himself.
Everything was going well: the lady was talking calmly with the boy, smiling and thanking him for the gift... until an armored truck stopped in front of the house.
A tall, handsome boy stepped out of the car, dressed as if he'd just stepped out of an expensive commercial. He was carrying a huge bouquet of flowers mixed with hundred-dollar bills. Felix's mother let out an excited squeal:

"Hyunjin! My son, it's been so long since I've seen you!"

Felix's boyfriend watched the scene confused, and even more so when he noticed how Felix tensed his shoulders, visibly uncomfortable.

"Love, who is he?" she asked quietly.
Felix swallowed before answering:
"He's... my ex-boyfriend."

The groom's stomach lurched instantly. He felt that sharp pang of insecurity at the sight of the display of money, the SUV, the way his mother-in-law practically ran to embrace him. How could he compete with that?

Felix's mother insisted that Hyunjin come in, and although he said he didn't want to inconvenience her, he ended up agreeing. He entered the house as if he already knew it (because he did) and sat right next to Felix, too close.
"Hello... it's been so long."
Hyunjin said with a gentle smile. Then he glanced at his boyfriend, examining him from head to toe with obvious discomfort in his eyes, before returning to Felix.
"Is he... your boyfriend?"

He asked Felix, in a tone that sounded more like mockery than surprise.
