Hyunjin. ³⁴

Hyunjin and Felix (you) don't have the best track record, and not because they hate each other, but for the opposite reason.
They were "hooked" for two years, with Hyunjin begging Felix, and then vice versa, and many fights and reconciliations.
By mutual agreement, they decided to end things since they were ultimately incompatible.
That didn't mean they didn't love each other. They broke up almost a year ago and still love each other, even though they treat each other badly.
And now, in their biology class, by coincidences of life, the universe or whatever, the two of them were assigned a research project together on stress, focusing on the neurological and the nervous system.
Everyone noticed. There were murmurs when the teacher, who randomly paired up the students, announced that Hyunjin and Felix would be working together on the project they would eventually have to present to the class.
Hyunjin and Felix feigned displeasure, and although they complained to the teacher, she refused to change the pairs.
They were trapped.
Hyunjin sat down at the desk next to Felix's.
"And what are you going to investigate?" asked the dark-haired man.
