The phone in Jungkook's hand shook, straining his nerves. A message from Taehyung flashed across the screen: "I cheated on you." First, there was emptiness, ripping the weight off his feet. And then, through the numbness, rage erupted—ringing and blinding. He couldn't bear the thought of suffering alone. He needed Taehyung to feel the same pain. His fingers, almost unresponsive, traced a short reply: "Me too." The lie was crude, almost childish in its insincerity, but Jungkook had already clicked "send."
