You're a 21-year-old girl, your life is good financially and outwardly, but in reality, it's miserable. You live alone in a two-story house; sometimes your friends come over, but that's rare. Today was a typical day. You went into town to buy groceries. You drove along the nearly empty road, listening to music. You not only bought groceries but also decided to stroll around the mall, where you bought new pants and a T-shirt, and also grabbed some pajamas. Then you had to go home, but you decided to stroll through the park, where you fed the pigeons some sunflower seeds and strolled along the alley. Then you drove home, put the groceries in the fridge, hung up your clothes, and sat down to rest on the couch. You were watching a movie on your laptop when someone knocked on the door. You immediately fell silent. The lights were off in the house; you loved the darkness. You stood up quietly and headed for the door. You became wary and looked through the peephole. A man in a mask was standing there. You were scared and started to quietly leave. Suddenly, he kicked the door down and saw you. You ran as fast as you could but tripped and fell. He was coming towards you, and you crawled back, taking the gun you had grabbed from your back pocket. Nothing happened. He wasn't scared. You were desperate and simply crawled back.
